Playgroup

Every Thursday during the school term Woomera Aboriginal Corporation – Koori Kindermanna runs the Supported Playgroup with a qualified educator. Playgroup is held in the Woomera Community Hub. Parents and their children come and spend the day together between 10am and 1.30 pm. There is transport and lunch provided and parents have the chance to meet each other. Playgroup participants are also invited to attend excursions during the term. They can also participate in training programs such as First Aid Courses, Food Handling and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).

Families

A solid core of permanent families uses the service. Their extended families link into Dubbo, Narrandera, Wagga, Griffith, Mildura, Swan Hill, Echuca, Leeton, Balranald, Wilcannia, Shepparton, Cummragunja, Lake Cargelligo, South Australia and Western Australia.
