Woomera Aboriginal Corporation’s preschool known as Koori Kindermanna is an community preschool licensed for twenty five (25) children per day. The preschool caters for children aged three (3) to five (5) years of age and is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The children are split into two groups. On Monday and Tuesday children aged 3-4-year-old attend the preschool and on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday children aged 4-5-year old attend the preschool. The preschool is located in the suburb of Glenroy and a bus service is provided for children whose parents not have transport.
At Koori Kindermanna we aim to embed Aboriginal perspectives in our early childhood curricula and we embrace and celebrate the children’s Aboriginal culture. To deliver a program which is culturally sensitive and enriching we encourage and value input from families and the community.
Our preschool is staffed by committed and qualified teachers and early childhood educators.
