Woomera Aboriginal Corporation

We're a community based not-for-profit organisation founded in 1990 that offers a range of housing, early education, out of home care and targeted early intervention services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in Albury and surrounds.

Woomera Aboriginal Corporation acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples her today.

Our Programs

Housing Program

In accordance with the vision of Woomera Aboriginal Corporation the Corporation provides affordable rental housing to Aboriginal people in the region.

Early Education Program

Woomera Aboriginal Corporation’s preschool known as Koori Kindermanna is an community preschool licensed for twenty five (25) children per day

Community Support Program

This program delivers a targeted early intervention program that provides information, advocacy and referral services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) people in the Albury region.

Permanency Support Program

This Program supports safety, wellbeing and positive life outcomes for children and young people in the child protection and out of home care (OOHC) systems in NSW.

Family Preservation

Family Preservation Program provides an intensive, time-limited, home based program for vulnerable families involved with Department of Community Justice.
